摘要: The electrochemical behavior of zinc in strong alkaline solutions containing 8.5 M potassium hydroxide (KOH) and polymeric organic inhibitors was evaluated. concentrations the studies were range 400-4000 ppm included polyethylene glycol (PEG), with a molecular weight 300-900, polyoxyethylene alkyl phosphate ester acid form (GAFAC RA600). potentiodynamic potentiostatic polarizations. inhibition properties PEG 600, solution, are by far much more efficient than capability other polymers. also indicate that evaluation should be conducted as function storage time. compounds established polymer must contain linear backbone chain length ∼10 units an optimal concentration 800-2000 ppm. described methods suggested rapid tool polymers inhibitors, offering precise determination media.
