Preparation and characterization of new flame retardant polyurethane composite and nanocomposite

摘要: In this work, a new flame retardant additive [2-phenyl-1,3,2 oxazaphospholidine 2-oxide (POPO)] containing phosphorus and nitrogen is synthesized using phenyl phosphonic dichloride, ethanol amine, copper (II) chloride, as catalyst. POPO characterized by 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, 31P-NMR used in polyurethane composites. Moreover, two commercial additives [tricalcium diphosphate hexabromocyclododecane (HBCD)] well nanoclay are to compare retardancy of the additive. Limited oxygen index (LOI) time burning (flammability test) composites nanocomposites evaluated. The results LOI test demonstrate that an excellent can be improve addition, increasing content leads improvement samples. show, however, good retardant, but high synthesis cost major disadvantage.
