摘要: There are three known tomato mosaic virus (TMV) resistance factors, Tm-1, Tm-2 and Tm-2 2, in the tomato. Tm-2 2 is currently most widely utilised glasshouse cultivars. Both Tm-22 can induce systemic necroses response to infection. These considered be hypersensitive reactions view of low concentrations affected plants because sub-inoculation usually fails infect all possessing same gene. The literature relating TMV at locus reviewed. Virulent strains may readily establish when Tm-1 or used, but confers more effective resistance. possible development aggressive isolates capable affecting Tm-2 2/Tm-22 discussed. establishment types which cause necrosis normal growing temperatures likely than widespread infection from fully virulent strain 22 mutants. However, crops isolated reservoirs soil considerably reduces likelihood even this occurring.
