摘要: A hierarchically structured hybrid vascular tissue was prepared from cells and collagen. First a medial by pouring cold mixed solution of bovine aortic smooth muscle (SMCs) Type I collagen into tubular glass mold composed mandrel sheath (inner diameter, 1.5 mm; outer 7 length, cm). An SMC incorporating collagenous gel formed with incubation at 37 degrees C. After the removed, resulting fragile cultured in medium shrank time dependent manner to form an opaque, dense tissue. Seeding higher cell density lower concentration resulted rapid prominent shrinkage. Morphologic investigation showed that time, bipolarly elongated SMCs fiber bundles became positioned around mandrel. When formed. hierarchical structure constructed seeding endothelial onto inner surface Prepared tissues tolerated luminal pressures as great 100 mmHg mechanical stress applied during anastomotic procedure. This method allowed authors prepare predetermined size (specifically wall thickness, length) property, which all depend on design, density, initial concentration, period. Hybrid may provide physiologic functions such antithrombogenicity regulation vasomotor tone when implanted venous system.
