Learning in Cnidaria: A systematic review.

摘要: Using the database Web of Science, a systematic search for literature on learning in Cnidaria, both non-associative and associative, was conducted. Cnidaria comprise hydras, box jellies, (true) jellyfish, corals, sea anemones, group animals possessing diffuse networks nerves known as nerve nets or neural nets. Being neighbors animal evolutionary tree to bilaterian animals, vast collection (mostly) bilaterally symmetric with brains ranging from tiny worms giant whales, cognitive capacities inform evolution nervous systems cognition bilateria. I failed find corals jellies. Habituation has been amply shown while sensitization studied detail including some neurobiological details release nematocysts poisoned darts capturing prey. One well-controlled study found evidence classical conditioning shock addition two other lesser-controlled demonstrations.
