摘要: The aim of present study was to enhance the efficiency selection by developing new artificial variables which will serve as criterion. Brix value and sucrose percentage were positively highly significantly correlated. Both these showed positive significant association with cane diameter, dry matter content commercial sugar (CCS). Strong correlation found between CCS juice contents. PCA revealed that first 4 PCs explained more than 85% total variation. PC1 added 35.4% share variation while PC2 27.2%. contribution PC3 PC4 14.3% 8.7% respectively. remaining nine only about 15% By probing screen plot it evident 9 have considerable variability in differences negligible. Biplot exposed together internodal length (CCS) minimum other traits differences. information thus acquired from research could be utilized frame suitable scheme develop clones best merits, for cultivation different environments.
