摘要: We derive a quasi one-dimensional mathematical model for the free surface flow of thin polymer fibers undergoing phase changes. The is based on averaging mass and momentum balance equations, while energy equation kept in standard form. Various constitutive laws are introduced crystallization kinetics, temperature strain-rate dependent viscosity, air friction heat transfer coefficients cooling laws. Emphasis put many approximations model. resulting system algebraic partial differential equations ordinary solved numerically. show how numerical simulations can be used fitting parameters an empirical
