Harnessing the unique properties of 2D materials for advanced lithium–sulfur batteries

摘要: In the past decade, lithium–sulfur batteries have attracted tremendous attention owing to their high theoretical energy densities. The electrochemical performances of are strongly dependent on electrode materials. Among all material candidates, application 2D materials in including a sulfur cathode, lithium anode, separator and/or an electrolyte has gained great success enhancing performance by overcoming intrinsic obstacles. Thus, it is necessary summarize relationships between unique features and batteries, guiding development next-generation batteries. this review, we focus recent advances harnessing properties materials, surface area, feature, mechanical strength, plentiful active sites functional groups improve cathodes, anodes, electrolytes separators, respectively. Finally, propose possible directions strategies for various promote applications
