摘要: The tetrodotoxin-resistant sodium channel Na(V)1.8/SNS is expressed exclusively in sensory neurons and appears to have an important role pain pathways(1,2). Unlike other channels, Na(V)1.8 poorly cell lines even the presence of accessory beta-subunits(3). Here we identify annexin II light chain(4,5) (p11) as a regulatory factor that facilitates expression Na(V)1.8. p11 binds directly amino terminus promotes translocation plasma membrane, producing functional channels. endogenous current inhibited by antisense downregulation expression. Because direct association with required for Na(V)1.8, disrupting this interaction may be useful new approach downregulating effecting analgesia(6).
