摘要: AbstractBackground. Ambulance transport of injured patients to the most appropriate medical care facility is an important decision. Trauma centers are designed and staffed treat severely increasingly burdened by cases involving less-serious injury. Yet, a cost evaluation Field Triage national guideline has never been performed. Objectives. To examine potential savings associated with overtriage for 1999 2006 versions Guideline. Methods. Data from National Hospital Ambulatory Medical Care Survey Databank (NTDB) produced estimates injury-related ambulatory transports exposure guideline. Case costs were approximated using distribution curve all found in NTDB.
