摘要: The paper analyses the dynamics of government spending growth in Lesotho using multivariate cointegration techniques for period 1980-2010. results indicate that is positively related to income and population while negatively tax share long-run. latter supports idea fiscal illusion caused by budget deficits, which lessen perceived cost public taxpayers. role internal external shocks on also investigated this study but such factors are found be less important determining expenditure Lesotho.
