摘要: From February 15th to April 2009, a period characterised by two episodes of Saharan dust outbreaks in Italy, particulate matter (PM) samples were collected at stations (urban and suburban) Rome. Some selected analysed using the SEM-EDS technique characterise PM, focussing especially on mineral contribution. Samples representative both days affected without this Cluster analysis allowed attribution each about 67 000 particles one seven main statistical groups based their composition. Characteristics components identified verified PIXE carried out filters suburban area. Ultimately, contribution crustal was revealed be consistently high, highlighting importance local regional contributions, as well those origin. Therefore, quantifying all contributions resuspended could lead significant reductions PM level also not influenced dust, thus limiting conditions when PM10 daily limit value (DLV) established European legislation is exceeded.
