摘要: Abstract The production of biofuels from renewable biomass resources is an attractive way to mitigate CO2 emissions and alleviate the shortage fossil fuels. A novel green one-pot synthesis biodiesel Ricinus communis seeds by basic heterogeneous catalysis reported in this work. direct transesterification (one-step process) with methanol presence homogeneous (HCl NaOH) or (Na2ZrO3) catalysts was evaluated. Additionally, comparison conventional (two-step against reaction analysed. oil acidic (HCl/CH3OH, 5% v/v) (NaOH/CH3OH, w/w) showed conversions fatty acid methyl esters (FAME) > 97% at 6 h 3 h, respectively. Moreover, carried out using a Na2ZrO3 catalyst. maximum FAME yield 99.99% 4 h time 5 wt % Finally, Green Metrics Parameters that resulted seven times greener compared process. This one-step process almost ten less hazardous than five harmful reaction. No n-hexane required for extraction. Thus, as reactant solvent increased greenness process, resulting shows good purity composition. In addition, no water purify biodiesel. According these results, promising alternative more sustainable, cleaner efficient crucial developing new technologies (by chemo-selectivity).
