摘要: Data are presented on the distribution of all newly diagnosed brain tumors in Israel between 1960 and 1964. The mean annual incidence among Jews was 4.4 per 100,000 for malignant with a male/female ratio 1.4:1, 2.4 benign sex 0.6:1. Arabic segment population considerably lower, probably due to underdiagnosis. Malignant were significantly higher European Israeli born residents compared both Asian African born. Similar differences noted regard but these only borderline significance. Glioblastoma multiforme constituted 40% tumors, increasing from 11% childhood 58% older patients. Medulloblastoma astrocytoma dominant childhood. Meningioma 72% close 24% combined.
