Exact solutions for the evolution of a bubble in an ideal liquid in a uniform external electric field

摘要: The dynamics of a bubble in dielectric liquid under the influence uniform external electric field is considered. It shown that situation where boundary motion determined only by electrostatic forces, special regime fluid can be realized for which velocity and potentials are linearly related. In two-dimensional case, corresponding equations reduced to an equation similar structure well-known Laplacian growth equation, which, turn, finite number ordinary differential equations. This allows us obtain exact solutions asymmetric deformations resulting formation finite-time singularity (cusp).
