摘要: Abstract Ceramic materials have tremendous demand in manufacturing sectors. However, poor machinability impedes their widespread applications on an industrial scale. BK-7 falls the same category and is normally processed by ultrasonic machining. But nowadays rotary machining overtaking for processing difficult to cut because of its superlative material removal mechanism. Current study aims improve surface quality BK7 studying effect input factors roughness during Response methodology has been used observe variables ― spindle speed, feed rate power (SR). Thereafter, central composite design was employed estimate regression coefficients quadratic model roughness. Fitness developed checked ANOVA test, which also revealed that all terms were significant except speed interaction. Feed maximum impact over descended moderate speed. The further reinforced observing integrity surfaces using scanning electron microscopic images. Mixed flow observed occur at lower higher levels rpm power.
