Transportation–Location Problem for a Solar Stove Distributing Nonprofit Organization

摘要: In this chapter, we describe a transportation–location problem faced by nonprofit organization which requires an efficient plan for distributing solar stoves to number of African countries. The main tradeoff in is between local production costs and shipping costs. Shipment consolidation mitigate spare container capacity location assembly plants are also considered. Multiple models solution techniques discussed throughout the chapter.
