摘要: Multimodality imaging is an essential aspect of endoscopic surveillance for the detection neoplastic lesions, such as dysplasia or intramucosal cancer, because it improves efficacy and therapeutic procedures in gastrointestinal tract. This approach reveals mucosal abnormalities that cannot be detected by standard endoscopy. Currently, these techniques are divided into those primary targeted characterization, latter being used to visualize areas interest detail permit histological evaluation. Review outlines use virtual chromoendoscopy, narrow-band imaging, autofluorescence optical coherence tomography, confocal endomicroscopy volumetric laser new diagnostic investigation Insights multimodal early disease detection, particular pre-malignant oesophagus, stomach colon described.
