The magnetic susceptibilities of the compounds were also measured. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis revealed octahedral geometries with trans configurations for 1, 4–8 cis 2 3. occurrence intramolecular Ni⋅⋅⋅Hpyridine interactions in 3, may account additional stabilization their assemblies at least solid state. effective moment (μeff) range 3.02–3.40 BM agree expected values Ni(II) cations two unpaired electrons. screened antimicrobial activity.
