A novel synthesis of a highly heat‐resistant organosilicon polymer using base catalysts

摘要: A new highly heat‐resistant polymer containing silicon, poly[(phenylsilylene)ethynylene‐1,3‐phenyleneethynylene] (MSP), was prepared by dehydrogenative coupling polymerization between phenylsilane and 1,3‐diethynylbenzene in the presence of base catalysts such as alkaline earth metal oxides, hydrides alkoxides. The preparation process, catalytic activities, reaction mechanisms properties were discussed.
