摘要: Abstract The removal of a basic dye, Rhodamine B (RhB), by fly ash adsorption, Fenton oxidation, and combined oxidation-fly adsorption were evaluated. Even though is low cost absorbent, high dose was needed to remove RhB. Only 54% RhB removed 80 g L−1 ash. Solution pH did not significantly affect the sorption after 8 h. reagents at H2O2 6 × 10−3 M 3 rapidly decolorized 97% within 2 min, 72% COD obtained 30 min reaction time. Spectrum analysis result showed that large area UV spectrum 200–400 nm remained reaction. addition 1 g L−1 effectively from Fenton-treated solution, absorption 220–400 nm totally vanished 2 h. oxidation process 98%. capacity for solution 41.6 times higher than untreated solution. results indicated potential technique removal.
