摘要: The role of sex hormones in hepatic lipid peroxidation, and aldehyde oxidase xanthine activities were investigated using rat liver homogenates. It was observed that male had a significantly greater content malondialdehyde than female. Among the tested, estradiol, one female hormones, markeldy inhibited formation peroxides tissuesin vitro. Especially, inhibitory effect estradiol appeared more remarkably Fe2-induced peroxidation. activity decreased about 15% by 106M whereas, almost completely disappeared at same concentration estradiol. implies differences peroxidation is attributed to suppression free radical generating system
