摘要: Eighteen hybridoma lines obtained byimmunization ofmicewithNewcastle disease virus (NDV)lentogenic strain La Sotaor velogenic Italien produced hemagglutinating monoclonal antibodies. The18 monoclones were divided intofourgroups according totheir reactivity towardnative hemagglutiniin neuraminidase protein (HN),nonglycosylated HN precursor,andheat-denatured blotted on nitrocellulose membranes. OnlygroupII reagents reactive towardtheir targets inallconditions tested. Theywere considered sequence-specific GroupIantibodies didnotrequire glycosylation butlacked towards thedenatured glycosylated antigen. Monoclonal antibodies fromgroupIIIrecognized onlythenative HN.GroupIVwas madeup ofasingle monoclonethatlacked withNDV butrecognized the LaSotastrain inhemagglutination inhibition andenzym,e-linked immunosorbent assays.Fivehybridoma whichneutralized viral infectivity butfailed toinhibit hemagglutination. One antibody after immunization ofmicewithNDV LaSotashowed alowneutralization index versusNDV Italien. Fourmonoclonal derived frommiceimmunized showed higher neutralization indices thisstrain. Neither F nor itsnonglycosylated precursorwas reacted against bythefive Newcastle virus(NDV)belongs totheparamyxovirus group ofenveloped, negative-stranded RNA vi
