摘要: Abstract In this paper, an efficient finite element model for the structural analysis of cracked beam-columns with arbitrary cross-sections is presented. For propose combination a planar beam only displacement degrees freedom and extended method (XFEM) used. This highly capable in modeling effect edge cracks on behavior beams under various loading boundary conditions. The able to solve problem related non-rectangular much less computational efforts compared available models. Numerical examples are given demonstrate accuracy efficiency present method. There good agreement between results obtained by proposed those ABAQUS XFEM.
