摘要: Two novel mesomorphic octakis and tetrakis (alkylthio)-substituted phthalocyanines of Pb(II) were synthesized characterized using NMR, UV–Vis, FT-IR mass-spectrometry. The mesogenic properties these new materials forming columnar-hexagonal mesophases studied by differential scanning calorimetry, optical microscopy X-ray diffraction. Visible absorption spectroscopy provided evidence thermally induced molecular reorganization in films. IR density functional theory calculations used to study the preferential orientation molecules relative substrate surface. intense bands spectra lead assigned with aid quantum chemical computations. observed increase intensity out-of-plane modes correlate an average edge-on on surface film. current-voltage characteristics films before after thermal treatment also measured. results confirmed film ordering proposed basis DFT studies.
