摘要: The multiplication of neutrons by thin spherical shells various materials surrounding a point source 14-Mev has been measured. A special long counter was used whose energy response is independent neutron over range energies from about 1 Mev to 14 Mev. transmission primary through the measured with trans-stilbene detector and values inelastic collision cross sections have derived. quantity ${\ensuremath{\sigma}}_{n,2n}+2{\ensuremath{\sigma}}_{n,3n}\ensuremath{-}{\ensuremath{\sigma}}_{c}$ calculated, where ${\ensuremath{\sigma}}_{n,2n}$ ${\ensuremath{\sigma}}_{n,3n}$ are for ($n, 2n$) 3n$) reactions ${\ensuremath{\sigma}}_{c}$ sum all processes which destroy neutron. Upper lower limits derived ${\ensuremath{\sigma}}_{n,2n}$, ${\ensuremath{\sigma}}_{c}$, ${\ensuremath{\sigma}}_{\mathrm{is}}$ (inelastic scattering) investigated. For number specific obtained.
