摘要: The DNA region upstream of katG in Mycobacterium smegmatis was cloned and sequenced. furA gene, highly homologous to tuberculosis furA, mapped this region. furA-katG organization appears be conserved among several mycobacteria. transcription pattern M. upon oxidative stress analyzed by Northern blotting primer extension. Although both induced stress, transcripts covering genes could not identified either or reverse transcriptase PCR. Specific 5′ ends were for katG, respectively.
