摘要: The contribution of the microbiota to disease progression and treatment efficacy is often neglected when determining who at highest risk developing gastrointestinal cancers or designing strategies for patients. We reviewed current literature on effect human cancer risk, prognosis, efficacy. highlight emerging research that seeks identify microbial signatures as biomarkers various cancers, discuss how we could harness knowledge microbiome detect, prevent, treat these cancers. Finally, outline further needed in field microbiota, describe efforts required increase accuracy reproducibility data linking cancer.
