摘要: The use of circulating biomarkers for heart failure (HF) is engrained in contemporary cardiovascular practice and provides objective information about various pathophysiological pathways associated with HF syndrome. However, biomarker profiles differ considerably among women men. For instance, the general population, markers cardiac stretch (natriuretic peptides) fibrosis (galectin-3) are higher women, whereas injury (cardiac troponins) inflammation (sST2) Such differences may reflect sex-specific pathogenic processes risk, but also arise as a result sex hormone fat distribution. From clinical perspective, sex-related levels affect objectivity management because what considered to be 'normal' one not so other. objectives this review are, therefore: (i) examine dynamics clinically relevant well patients; (ii) discuss overlap between obesity-related effects, (iii) identify knowledge gaps stimulate research on HF.
