Shot sequence detection aided by postmortem computed tomography in a case of homicide

摘要: This study investigated the use of postmortem computed tomography (pmCT) in a homicide victim with three gunshots. case report illustrates that pmCT enhances forensic investigation and facilitates dissection complex regions like neck may aid determination possible chronology successive shooting. Postmortem imaging should be included as an established standard protocol any state-of-the-art gunshot injury examination pathology, this method provide more information than autopsy alone.
