摘要: Coronary artery disease (CAD) remains the leading cause of death in Western world, and early detection CAD allows optimal therapeutic management. The gold standard has always been invasive coronary angiography, but over years various non-invasive techniques have developed to detect CAD, including cardiac SPECT computed tomography (Cardiac CT). Cardiac permitted visualization myocardial perfusion focused on assessment hemodynamic consequences obstructive lesions as a marker CAD. CT focuses atherosclerosis rather than ischemia, permit at an earlier stage. objectives this manuscript are discuss clinical experience with both modalities provide critical review strengths limitations for diagnostic management patients suspected or ischemic disease.
