摘要: A Tm,Ho:CaYAlO4 single crystal was grown using the Czochralski (CZ) method. The absorption spectra, fluorescence spectrum around 2 μm, upconversion and energy-transfer (ET) schemes between Tm3+ ions Ho3+ have been studied. boule free from cracks, inclusions scattering centers. broad FWHM of 797-nm band (with E//c polarization is 19 nm with E//a 18 nm), large emission bandwidth (about 600 nm) intense ET to make a promising media for tunable ultrashort pulses.
