Remote sensing (RS) from satellite airborne platforms, along with many other sources data such as wireless sensor arrays ground-based radar networks, is playing continue to vital role hydrosphere by providing next generation datasets community. RS systems are planetary macroscopes that allow study ecosystems completely new vantage point, facilitating holistic perspective like viewing Earth does for astronauts.
