摘要: Brain swelling associated with cerebral ischemia is a well-known phenomenon, which was identified long ago as one of the major complicating factors promoting progression or impeding reversal circulatory impairment. Considerable attention has therefore been devoted to elucidation pathophysiology this process, and numerous studies have carried out in amelioration by therapeutic intervention attempted [29]. Despite these efforts no breakthrough achieved therapy ischemic brain swelling, many various procedures proposed remain highly controversial.
