摘要: OBJECTIVE: To compare estimates obtained through household and telephone surveys for monitoring, intervention development of health policies. METHODS: The study analyzed data from 2,526 1,900 individuals aged 18 over, living in Campinas, SP, interviewed by the survey (ISACamp) (Vigitel), respectively. Sex, age schooling were used to characterize studied population. RESULTS: No statistically significant differences found between overall prevalence of: overweight/obesity, smoking status, mammography prior year Pap smear at least once life. CONCLUSIONS: These findings point need further studies, which may contribute better understanding differences, given that can provide quick essential information monitoring modifiable risk factors assessment interventions develop policies promoting Brazil.
