摘要: Assessment of renewable energy resources such as surface solar radiation and wind current has great relevance in the development local regional policies. This paper examines variability availability these a function possible climate changes for Caribbean region. Global have been reported last decades, causing atmospheric dynamics, which affects net balance at strength direction. For this investigation, future are predicted using parallel model (PCM) it is coupled with numerical modeling system (RAMS) to simulate spatial patterns specific case island Puerto Rico. Numerical results from PCM indicate that basin 2041 2055 will experience slight decrease (with respect years 1996-2010), more pronounced western sea. Results also easterly winds tendency increase its magnitude, especially 2070 2098. The showed important areas collect solarmore » located eastern side Rico, while intense speed placed around coast.
