摘要: Abstract The potential of using pumice and walnut wood activated carbon as low-cost adsorbents for the removal diazo dye Reactive Black 5 (RB5) from aqueous solutions was investigated. Langmuir isotherm fit to data specified presence two different natures adsorption sites with binding energies on AC-W surface. Kinetic modelling showed that behaviour mechanism RB5 both is believed happen via surface followed by diffusion into pores pumice. main mechanisms are hydrogen bonding, electrostatic bonding n–π interactions.
