摘要: Bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) facilitate the angiogenic response of endothelial (ECs) within three-dimensional (3D) matrices in vivo and engineered tissues vitro part through paracrine mediators by acting as stabilizing pericytes. However, molecular interactions between BMSCs nascent tubules during process angiogenesis are not fully understood. In this study, we have used a tractable 3D co-culture model to explore functional role α6β1 integrin adhesion receptor on sprouting angiogenesis. We report that knockdown α6 subunit significantly reduces capillary sprouting, causes their failure associate with vessels. Furthermore, demonstrate attenuated proliferate at lower rate relative either control expressing non-targeting shRNA or wild type BMSCs; however, despite adding more compensate for deficit proliferation, deficient persists. Collectively, our findings is important ability stimulate vessel morphogenesis. This conclusion may implications optimization cell-based strategies promote
