摘要: Three reading frames called ccmFN1, ccmFN2, and ccmFc are found in the mitochondrial genome of Arabidopsis. These sequences similar to regions bacterial gene ccmF involved cytochrome c maturation. genes always absent from animal fungi genomes but land plant several evolutionary distant eukaryotes. In Arabidopsis, ccmFN2 despite absence a classical initiation codon is not pseudo gene. The 3 Arabidopsis expressed at protein level. Their products integral proteins inner membrane with total 11 13 predicted transmembrane helices. conserved WWD domain CcmFN2 localized inter space. CcmF all detected high molecular mass complex 500 kDa by Blue Native PAGE. Direct interaction between both CcmFN1 CcmFC shown yeast two-hybrid split ubiquitin system, no observed CcmFC. Similarly, apocytochrome also c1. Finally, interact CCMH previously as well c. This strengthens hypothesis that make performs assembly heme c-type apocytochromes mitochondria.
