摘要: As we discussed in Chaps. 5 and 6, texture is divided into several classes: single crystal, biaxial, fiber, random polycrystalline structures. The mechanisms that lead to these different textures are rather complex. They depend on the nature of substrate (for example, crystalline vs amorphous), temperature, deposition rate, flux energetics, impurities, geometry. In this chapter, will provide an overview some most commonly known textures. However, general, fundamental understanding many formations far from complete. Because technological implications, a very rich, exciting area research, it likely continue be so for years come.
