摘要: One of the most significant barriers facing postsecondary students with reading and written expression disorders who are eligible to receive specific accommodations is lack professional knowledge pertaining issues surrounding accommodations. Though guided by Section 504 Rehabilitation Act 1973 Americans Disabilities Act, process which accommodation decisions made varies considerably across institutions higher education. Given recent rise in litigation practice how determined as well increasing number writing disabilities requesting accommodations, it imperative that be defensible supported empirical research. The purpose this article provide an overview current research on effectiveness for language-based learning disabilities, discuss important considerations selection process, offer recommendations future
