摘要: This study examined the moderating effect of gender on relationship between cognitive social capital and formal volunteering among older adults in urban China. Cognitive refers to individuals' perceptions their relationships local communities. We used quota sampling recruit 456 aged 60 years from 16 communities Gusu district, Suzhou city, late 2015. Multiple group analysis was examine proposed model. Gender had a volunteering. The associations were higher men than women. findings highlight important role influencing Chinese contexts. are particularly for enhancing across different economic backgrounds. Policy intervention implications discussed.
