摘要: Pancreatic carcinoma (PC) is one of the most lethal malignancies, and its poor prognosis strongly associated with invasion metastasis. CA19.9 considered to be sensitive serum marker for PC in clinical practice; however, detection has a certain false positive negative rate. The expression calcium-binding protein S100A4 been reported various cancers. This study aimed investigate relationship between prognostic significance PC. We performed immunohistochemical staining formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded blocks 128 tissues. levels pre-operative were correlated clinicopathological parameters. possible correlation evaluated using chi-square test Spearman correlation. Survival was assessed by Kaplan–Meier analysis together single variable or multivariate Cox analysis. A significant level observed tissues (ρ = 0.202, P 0.022). co-expression both proteins significantly tumor differentiation − 0.280, 0.001), TNM stage 0.389, 0.000), lymph node metastasis 0.254, 0.008). Upregulation identified as significant, independent predictor overall survival (P 0.000). Moreover, higher (≥ 35 U/mL) also recognized an inferior 0.001). Additionally, upregulation patients contributed decrease positively levels. factors expression/pre-operative may prove useful dual biomarkers Analysis combination can better predict
