摘要: This study analyzes socially optimal environmental policy for a mine with model that takes into account waste or rock production and abatement possibilities of the mine. We develop model, in which produces an externality related to rocks, such as acid drainage. find extraction rate tends be lower higher production, tax on is strictly increasing time. extend incorporate additional form stock pollutant. analyze taxes show typical result time path pollutant inverted U-shaped may lost possibility fixed operation period.
