摘要: Many insect species harbour symbiotic microorganisms (symbionts) that are generally unculturable in media. To utilize symbionts as genome resources, we examined whether symbiont genes can be expressed Escherichia coli. 144 plasmid clones were isolated from gene libraries, which constructed the genomic DNA of intestinal bacterial brown-winged green bug, Plautia stali, using an E. coli system. Proteins prepared a culture each clone analysed SDS-PAGE. A discrete symbiont-specific band was detected six clones. From structural analyses insert clone, candidate encoding protein predicted and amino acid sequence deduced. The N-terminal region identical to deduced symbiont, but not host. promoter sequences genes, very similar those corresponding found DNA. These findings clearly indicate derived fragments P. stali
