摘要: The surface properties of oxides two kinds zirconium alloy (namely Zircaloy-4 and ZrNb, which are commonly used as the cladding for nuclear fuel rods) investigated. XPS analyses were carried out on both samples after a standard thermal treatment in pressurized autoclave. An oxide essentially composed ZrO2 characterizes Zircaloy-4, with some tin detected layer, whereas ZrNb presents an layer niobium oxides. Angle-resolved analysis shows to be enriched (presumably Nb2O5).
