摘要: Both mast cells (MCs) and regulatory T (Tregs) have gained attention as immunosuppressive cell populations. To investigate a possible interaction, we used the Th1- Th17-dependent model of nephrotoxic serum nephritis (NTS), in which both MCs Tregs been shown to play protective role. Transfer wild-type (wt) into wt recipients almost completely prevents development NTS leads profound increase renal draining lymph nodes (LNs). By contrast, transfer animals deficient MCs, are characterized by an exaggerated susceptibility NTS, no longer exhibited effects. Blocking pleiotropic cytokine IL-9, known be involved MC recruitment proliferation, means mAb mice receiving abrogated protection from NTS. Moreover, IL-9-deficient also failed protect In absence Treg-derived fail accumulate LNs, despite fact that IL-9 deficiency does not alter general suppressive activity Tregs. summary, our knowledge, provide first direct vivo evidence nephroprotective, anti-inflammatory effects critically depend on IL-9-mediated attraction kidney-draining LNs.
