摘要: Abstract Ionic conductivity and morphology of a two-component hybrid polymer electrolyte comprising blend, LiClO4 propylene carbonate (PC) have been studied. The has made by mixing in required proportions with blend thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) polyvinylmethylether (PVME) then adding PC to it. TPU used this study was segmented urethane having 1:1 mixture polypropylene glycol (PPG) polytetramethylene (PTMG) as the soft segment 4,4′-diphenyl methane diisocyanate (MDI) extended ethylene diamine (EDA) hard segment. ionic these electrolytes were studied using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) AC impedance measurements. Electrochemical stability cyclic voltammetry (CV). Blending 20-wt% PVME leads to: (i) ∼100% increase absorption compared pure TPU; (ii) dissolution up ∼2.0 mmol/g which otherwise only 0.4 mmol/g TPU. Room temperature containing 1.5 mmol per gram 40% is 10−4 S/cm.
