摘要: Free and forced flexural vibrations of homogeneous, isotropic linear elastic Kirchhoff plates plate systems are studied numerically. The conventional direct boundary element method, which employs the dynamic fundamental solution problem, domain/boundary static problem employed in both time frequency domain. former is essentially associated with integrals only, while latter as well domain accommodating inertia terms. Thus, only a discretization necessary an interior required one. However, method deals much simpler computationally more efficient. Transient treated aid marching scheme or Laplace transform respect to time, case numerical inversion transformed obtain response. effect external viscous damping internal viscoelastic in-plane forces on response also studied. Various examples presented for illustrating two aforementioned approaches comparisons against finite made demonstrate their merits.
