摘要: AbstractOf the orchiopexies performed for abdominal undescended testicles 85 per cent have resulted in satisfactory testicular growth and position. Three-fourths of these cases were boys with prune belly syndrome. We are satisfied our recent experience using Fowler-Stephens procedure to salvage intra-abdominal testicles. An analysis failures 5 testes early this series, resulting partial atrophy, has helped us avoid technical errors through attention following details: 1) preservation a broad pedicle peritoneum overlying mobilized vas, 2) avoidance any dissection spermatic cord 3) high ligation vessels well above point confluence vas vessels. Although some risk ischemia atrophy we believe it be preferred way gain mobility on short tethering gonadal vascular pedicle.
